Our Approach

A painful or injured hand, wrist or elbow can limit your ability to do work or enjoy activities. Therapy can help you regain function following injury, surgery or disease. At Fairview and HealthEast, our hand therapists have advanced training and will work with you and your doctor to develop a rehabilitation program carefully tailored to your ability and needs.

Hand therapy can help

We provide therapy for hand, wrist, and elbow problems resulting from:

  • Amputation or fracture 
  • Arthritis 
  • Carpal tunnel and nerve compressions
  • Congenital abnormalities 
  • Contracture (shortening of muscle, tendon or ligament) 
  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
  • Tendonitis and tenosynovitis
  • Traumatic injury of tendons, ligaments, nerves, joints and bones 
  • Trigger finger
